Skills Clinics

• This clinic is an affinity space, meant for those who identify as women, trans, or non-binary riders.
• Beginner riders with experience on green trails or blue trails can greatly benefit from this clinic. No mountain bike experience is necessary though! 
• This is an excellent introduction to mountain bike instruction and will be an inclusive space for all abilities looking to gain more confidence on the trail

Maggie Rumley is a PMBIA Level 1 instructor, Wilderness First Responder, Dirt Skrrt Ride Leader, and Outdoor Educator who is dedicated to improving your skills and confidence on the trail for maximum fun.

• We will start with a welcoming circle where we will go over the plan of the day, introduce ourselves, and do a bike check.
• Then, we will head down to the field for a learning environment meant to feel relaxing and thorough.
• We will cover body positioning, braking, and cadence in the field. Then we will move to the trails for some on trail drills and lessons. We will explore Dupont’s trails at a pace that is controlled and individual to the rider.
• There will be plenty of time for repetition, feedback, and experimentation.

$125 per person

You can cancel at any time for any reason for a full refund (minus our credit card and processing fees – 10%) up until the day before your lesson. If you cancel ON the day of your lesson, we keep the deposit.
