Group Jump Clinic with MTB Skills Factory and Cognition Coaching’s Portable Jump Line, AIRBAGS, and Kanuga’s Dirt Jumps
MTB Skills Factory is teaming up with Cognition Coaching to bring their Portable Jump Line and AIRBAGS to Kanuga for this unique intro to jumping clinic. Portable ramps are the best way to have an easily repeatable jump to be able to learn intentional skill application to jump with control and confidence. Once we get comfortable with the basic techniques on the portable jump line, we’ll transition to the dirt jump lines at Kanuga. A great way to learn, practice, AND apply.
*Prerequisite: You MUST have participated in an intro jump clinic prior to this lesson. You can register for the Jump Intro clinic that takes place in the morning 9am-12pm, or you could have taken a jump clinic from MTB Skills Factory, Cognition Coaching, or any other quality skills provider.
This clinic is appropriate for intermediate and advanced level jumpers who want to learn how to jump with more control, confidence, or style.
Riders MUST have participated in an intro jump clinic prior to this lesson. That can be the intro clinic in the morning, or any jump clinic previously provided by MTB Skills Factory, Cognition Coaching, or any other quality skills provider.
The two primary instructors for this clinic are some of the most experienced and qualified coaches in the country:
Josh Whitmore – PMBIA Level 3 “Air” and “Tech” instructor, head coach of MTB Skills Factory
Ben Tufford – BICP Level 3 instructor, head coach of Cognition Coaching
We’ll start with an intro to listen to your previous experience and goals, then set expectations and a plan for the clinic
Then, we’ll move into a skills assessment and refinement on the smaller portable jumps.
After you have technique dialed, we’ll move onto the bigger portable jumps with the Airbag landings.
If time allows, we’ll also play on the Green and Blue rated Jump lines or the Tortuga jump trail at Kanuga.
