Top Tips for Racing Gravity Enduro Enduro Events
Thursday May 25th, 3pm-5pm
Our Thursday Night Race League is a FREE single timed downhill run on one of our fantastic trails. Join us BEFORE the the race for a clinic on the subtle tips and tactics to help you go faster!
Racing against the clock comes with different strategy, skills, and tactics than just riding along for fun and style. Learn tips that the pros use to go faster, conserve more energy for when you need it most, and where to push to make the most difference.
Practice with us ON the race track for the evening, then grab a number and put your learning to use!
This clinic is appropriate for all level riders wanting to learn to learn small tactics and skills to decrease their downhill segment times.
Riders who are new to gravity racing will be introduced to the structure and tactics of intentional segment practice, race strategy, and pacing.
Intermediate and advanced level riders will learn how to approach racing more intentionally, learn core skill tactics such as energy conservation, when to push, and what efforts result in the most time savings.
This clinic is taught by our Head Coach – Josh Whitmore. Josh is one of the most highly certified and experienced mountain bike instructors in the country and is also a 2x former USA National Champion.
We’ll start with an intro to listen to your previous experience and goals, then set expectations and a plan for the clinic
We’ll cover pre-race prep and strategy including course inspection and intentional practice
